We are glad you’re here!
Career Coaching appointments can now be scheduled through Handshake.
The Academic Success and Career Center is switching it’s drop-in meetings to be entirely online in support of social distancing guidelines. You will now schedule an appointment via Handshake for a future time and complete a Zoom appointment. With the screen sharing technology present in the video conferencing software Zoom we can review your application documents and navigate resources together in real time so that we can achieve the same level of collaboration that we could in person. Our career development coaches view career decision making as an on-going “life-planning” process, rather than a one-time choice. Through one-on-one meetings with students, career coaches help evaluate and improve self-understanding, knowledge of the work world, and decision making skills. By integrating the results of a variety of assessment tools, they can also help you find ways to implement career choices and to facilitate adjustment to work and educational environments. All career coaching services are confidential.
Career Coaching Services are Available to:
- All Current Students (Graduate and Undergraduate)
- Recent Alumni (Within Six Months of Graduation)
- Former Students Returning to WSU
Individuals who are community members or staff/faculty of the university are not eligible for career coaching unless they meet one of the above criteria but are encouraged to use community resources such as:
