Summer is fast approaching, and you may have final projects and assignments to complete. Many people experience a decrease in motivation during their last semester before graduation, which is commonly known as “senioritis.” However, it’s essential not to let this happen to you. If you find yourself losing focus, identifying the problem can help you create an action plan or make an appointment with an academic coach. Students can schedule appointments or walk in to consult with an academic coach about demotivation, procrastination, note-taking, and other related topics.

Here is the link to schedule that appointment: https://ascc.wsu.edu/resources/academic-success-coaching/

To avoid senioritis, it’s crucial to set achievable goals for yourself and stay focused on what’s important to you. It may be challenging at first, but remember that in a few weeks, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy your summer, and this applies to everyone. If you don’t meet your academic goals now, it will be difficult to enjoy your summer when you are trying to make up for the classes you did not pass.

Despite the year you are in, we can all relate to one another as COUGS! Ultimately, your success depends on your ability to stay focused and apply yourself. So, don’t let senioritis get in the way of your goals and dreams.
