Corporate Advisory Associates is the premier independent business valuation firm in Seattle. We provide valuation services for a variety of purposes, including transactions, estate planning, litigation, and financial reporting. Our clients are typically private companies based in the Pacific Northwest that span a broad range of industries, such as aerospace, real estate, technology, agriculture, and others.
We are looking for an analyst with one to three years of professional experience in finance or accounting or a recent college graduate that is motivated to embark on the valuation career path. A successful analyst will be comfortable working in a small office environment, managing multiple simultaneous projects with rigid deadlines. Strong critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential job skills.
Our office is located in downtown Seattle. We believe in-person interaction is a valuable aspect of professional development and would prefer an analyst to work in the office. However, there is some flexibility for a hybrid work schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Organizing and analyzing client financial statements and reports
- Developing and reviewing valuation models based on guideline public companies, M&A transactions, net asset value, and discounted cash flow
- Performing market, industry, and economic research
- Assisting in the preparation of valuation reports and presentations
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar. Progress towards CFA or CPA preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a valuation, finance, or accounting role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to perform and summarize economic and industry research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
