Quantum Tech Partners is a global boutique M&A advisory firm working with video gaming and gaming tech companies on their most significant financial initiatives including financings, strategic partnerships and M&A.
Interns at Quantum Tech Partners gain a deep domain expertise in M&A and capital raising in the gaming technology sector. Dependent upon experience, Interns will have the opportunity to support teams on live deals through both quantitative and qualitative assignments, along with performing in-depth industry and company-specific research. Interns receive continuing on-the-job training and benefit from working alongside experienced gaming and finance professionals on meaningful projects.
This internship is virtual but with a strong preference for candidates in the Greater Seattle area for team and training events (when and if possible).
This posting is for either Summer 24 or Fall 24, please indicate your preference for consideration. The expected commitment will be ~40 hours a week for the duration of the selected quarter.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze detailed corporate, industry and financial information
- Create statistical models and exhibits with analysis of data and financials
- Build, update and review financial models and work with clients on forecast models
- Create valuations for companies including pulling together trading comparables and precedent transactions
- Develop marketing materials and deliver sections of research memos and presentations
- Research and analyze industry strategic players, potential investors and sources of capital
- Participate in the execution of financings and M&A transactions, interacting with senior deal team members
Qualifications for Undergraduate
- You are pursuing an undergraduate degree (junior or senior preference)
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- You have good knowledge of and a keen interest in corporate finance, accounting and business
- You are analytical, adaptive, have a strong work ethic, and can manage multiple projects at once. You are a team player and able to work in a remote setting and execute on assignments promptly.
- You possess strong oral and written communication skills, and comfortably interact with colleagues and clients in a professional and mature manner
- Excellent technology skills with strong emphasis on Google Suite and Pitchbook and ability to learn new software quickly
- Outstanding integrity, ethics and judgement
- Strong interest in the Gaming Industry and/or Technology is necessary
Qualifications for MBAs
- Bachelors’ degree from a leading university, with outstanding GPA and extracurricular activities
- Experience as an Investment Banking Analyst and/or internship is preferred
- Strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of corporate finance and accounting
- You are analytical, adaptive, have a strong work ethic, and can manage multiple projects at once. You are a team player and able to work in a remote setting and execute on assignments promptly.
