All tutoring centers are walk-in, meaning you do not have to have an appointment to meet with the tutor. You will need to pay close attention to the locations and times of the tutor you want to get help from, and those that are listed on the tutoring website.

To stay ahead of the game with your academics such as midterms and finals, make use of your planners and reminders, and identify where you may be able to go and see a tutor in the weeks prior to the assignments and test due dates. If YOU want to improve your grades, do not procrastinate, and instead get a step ahead by taking advantage of all the resources made available to you.

What is a Check-In and How does that work? Most if not all tutoring centers have an area desk where you can swipe your Cougar Card, or type your ID number in; Tracking the time spent at that location. Some professors or even classes will require you to attend a certain amount of time

at any of the tutoring centers, and perhaps even offer extra credit if you spend enough time there.

The tutoring center is a welcoming environment, you may not always have questions or need help, and that is OK, they are eager to help! Go and study in a tutoring center, so you are in the location if you do need help or assistance with a homework problem!

Tutors are there to help, and they can’t wait to see you! Go Cougs!
