The ability to speak a foreign language can really be an asset in a forward-facing, hospitality industry. We hear more about this in the article “The Best Languages to Learn for Business and the Hospitality Industry”, by Beata Lobertreau, a senior language lecturer at the École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) Hospitality Business School in Switzerland. Lobertreau shared that though English is still the top language spoken internationally, learning Spanish, Russian, and Mandarin will only have a positive effect on your international employability.
