WSU ASCC To Host Annual Event on March 22, 2023-Thriving Authentically:  Ascending Industry as a Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color

For the third year,  the Academic Success and Career Center and Office of Outreach and Education at WSU will bring back Thriving Authentically:  Ascending Industry as a Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color happening onWednesday, March 22, 4:00–5:30 p.m. PST, virtually on Zoom.

The Thriving Authentically virtual program will feature panelists that identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) as they share their stories on how they cultivated their professional and cultural identities in their industries. The event will be moderated by WSU Alumnus Gary Barquet, who has supported this event since 2020. Mr. Barquet shared in past conversations that being able to help Cougs through this program energizes his passion for creating spaces for learning. We are beyond excited to have our original host engage our featured employers and facilitate conversations with his fellow Cougs.
