My name is Sam Boddicker, and I am an account executive for a company called Brooksource. And then I represent a division of that company, called CalculatedHire. What we do is recruiting and staffing services, right, so very few people know exactly what that means coming out of it but long story short, we connect employers with candidates, and candidates with employers. And then we make our money by charging a fee for that service. So, more often than not it's either onesie, twosies, or we'll take on ownership over like entire projects. But we'll give them the entire project team, so they can facilitate whatever business initiate they have for that area of time. So again, I'm in the sales role. So we have an entire recruitment team that is phenomenal. Both nationally and locally present. So how we find those individuals are through a number of different tools, be that LinkedIn is a huge, huge, huge thing. Right now LinkedIn is almost as important as having a really developed resume. My clients that I service are United Health Group, Target, Best Buy and then some of the health systems locally, so like Fairview. And then another one of our other reps develops relationships with Mayo Clinic. But what I actually do when I'm there, to kind of answer your question, is really more of trying to understand what their business needs are, where their gaps in employment are, and essentially the question that I end up asking them is what are the issues you're facing, and can you solve that with a person. 'Cuz if you can, then we can help you. If you can't solve it by finding a person that has the right background, that's not us anymore. Right, so it's very consultative. I've brought in a number of people, at like CHS Incorporated, if you're familiar with them at all. They own Cenex gas stations. Fortune 93, I think at this point, agriculture company. But what I do for them is very different than what I do for people at Optum. Right, so for them, they needed... They're implementing SAP right now an Enterprise resource planning system. And they needed seven people to come in, and keep the back office running, while their internal employees learned SAP. So I was like alright, I got you. Let's do this. Seven people coming in, all juniors coming straight outta college, or maybe one or two years of experience. And then we provide them actually both training and a one year developmental road map. So this is, this has been an avenue to provide what I've learned over the last three years, working with this company, to students and to people that are coming in that are fresh to a new environment, and like translate that knowledge.
