$2000 sign-on bonus for new employees
As a Bilingual Therapist for our Wraparound Program, you will deliver culturally responsive mental health services to youth and their families, including individual and family therapy and child and family team meetings. Services will create a nonjudgmental, culturally informed, empowering space for difficult topics and situations to be processed, addressed and ultimately help facilitate healing. The Bilingual Therapist will participate in the daily provision of services to clients within the program through assessment, diagnosing, direct mental health therapy and case management functions in family systems, strength-based model. It is the Bilingual Therapist’s responsibility to strive to provide the best possible individualized treatment for the youth and families. Sessions may take place within the community (i.e. families’ homes, schools, locations identified by the client).
ABOUT WRAPAROUND
Seneca offers Wraparound services to children and youth at risk of out of home placements like residential treatment facilities or juvenile hall and youth who are re-entering the community from these placements. The Wraparound program maintains fidelity to the National Wraparound Initiative model and is strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the youth and family develop the skills and supports needed to thrive at home and in the community. A Child and Family Team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the at-risk child, and consists of family members, Seneca’s Wraparound Facilitator, Youth counselor, Parent Partner, Connections Specialist, Therapist, and other community members who have an important role in the family.
