This position contributes to our vision by:
• Comply with the financial targets of ebit and working capital savings, through the implementation of effective Lean-Sigma initiatives and improvement projects.
• Supports workplace safety, facility operations, and basic security oversight. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, and assists with general office security measures.
• Manages the employee improvement suggestion program;
• Ensures effectiveness of the Safran + department;
• Monitor and support compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance records.
• Assist with chemical and waste management as needed.
• Coordinate and support emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response activities.
• Assist in delivering HSE awareness training programs, risk assessments, safety audits, and monthly safety committee meetings.
• Participate in new hire safety and health orientation sessions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in HSE standards across all sites.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans under guidance of HSE leadership.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required
• Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
• Other duties as assigned

This position will travel 30% of the time.

Candidates for positions with Safran Electrical & Power must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position requires access to technologies and hardware subject to US national security based export control requirements. Candidate skills & requirements

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Requires 1+ years manufacturing experience in Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement and Health, Safety and Environment.
• Requires 1+ years experience in the aerospace sector, or equivalent experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
• Understanding of OSHA standards and workplace safety best practice
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication across all levels of the organization
• Collaborative mindset with ability to build strong relationships across departments
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to make decisions appropriate to job level and responsibilities
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in MS Office computer applications
• Adaptability to changing priorities and emergency situations
• Ability to gather and analyze information
