Role Description
We have two full-time, on-site roles for an Environment, Health, and Safety Manager located in Plymouth, MI and Dayton OH. The EHS Manager will oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe workplace. Responsibilities include developing and delivering training, conducting risk evaluations, leading accident investigations, monitoring occupational health programs, and maintaining compliance with EHS standards and regulations. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health practices
- Proficiency in Health & Safety standards and compliance, including OSHA and other industry regulations
- Hands-on experience with Accident Investigation and analysis to identify cause and preventive measures
- Experience in conducting effective training programs across different organizational levels
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
- Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) are a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
