Discover what it’s like to work at a truly innovative, global, commercial law firm.

At Linklaters, we make it our job to seek out the most innovative and effective solutions to solve our clients’ greatest challenges. Working at Linklaters is about unleashing your imagination to challenge the present and shape the future. We will encourage you as a lawyer of tomorrow to embrace working in our diverse and inclusive team, to put our clients at the centre of what we do, to share your ideas for innovation and efficiency, and to think and do things differently.

Following on from the success of our inaugural Virtual Experience Programme, we are proud to launch another first of its kind programme – one aimed at school-aged students. We know many of you are starting to explore career options and we hope this programme will be a great way of finding out more about the world of commercial law and about our firm.

Our trainees undergo a two-year training programme (a “Training Contract”) with us in order to complete their qualifications as a lawyer. In this programme, you will be joining as if you were a Linklaters trainee, about to start your Training Contract with us. You will get an insight into the structure of a Training Contract, increase your knowledge of our core practice areas and understand the range of work that a trainee gets involved in. You will also learn about the pro bono work at the firm and the ongoing training and development our trainees benefit from throughout their Training Contract and beyond.

Our programme is open to all students but has been designed for 16-18 year olds and those at the very beginning of their research into commercial law.

This program is self-paced. It takes approximately 5 hours to complete.
