Handshake Is Here!
The Academic Success and Career Center at Washington State University is changing its employment management platform from CougLink to Handshake. This is an exciting update that will improve the experience of students seeking employment or an employer recruiting WSU students! Check out our Student Employment page for information about how students and employers can access Handshake!
Posting Job and Internship Positions
CougLink (part of the NACElink network) is our free online employment resource website for official job and internship listing program at Washington State University.
Once logged in, select “Create Job Posting” on the right, under “CougLink Shortcuts”. Single positions posted through the links above are free of charge. However, you may choose to post to multiple schools for a nominal fee.
If you have difficulty and need assistance with the posting process, please contact us.
Requirements for Employers Creating a CougLink account
- Employers’ account e-mail must match the organization’s website domain name. Generic e-mail addresses, such as, Gmail, Hot Mail, or Outlook cannot be accepted. This measure is set in place to protect our students, as well as your organization.
- Missing, inaccurate, or illegitimate information in your registration form could result in a declined CougLink account request.
- Private parties (i.e. someone unassociated with an established organization for personal employment) cannot be accepted.
- Employers who do not conform to Washington State law will not be accepted.
