Welcome Back, Cougs!
To ensure you have the support to begin classes, Drop-In Advising will be available from 8-4, Monday thru Friday. Learn more about our Drop-In hours here: https://ascc.wsu.edu/resources/drop-in-advising/

At Washington State University, we believe that every student should have the resources and opportunities necessary to reach their full potential and succeed in their chosen careers.

Our goal is to support you in your personal and professional growth. Here, you’ll find information and resources to help you reach your goals.

The need for these resources is substantial, as the evidence for gender inequality in employment in the United States is overwhelming and well-documented. Women continue to face systemic barriers to equal pay, promotion opportunities, and equal representation in leadership positions.

Please consider the resources on this page or make an appointment with us to address your concerns, work through challenges, and strengthen your application materials.

Legal resources:

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) enforces federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee because of the person’s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or genetic information.

TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund provides support for women and men who have experienced workplace sexual harassment.

The National Women’s Law Center – Provides resources for how to deal with discrimination and access to healthcare.

Washington State Women’s Commission – A legislative representation commission where members of the public can bring issues to be heard and considered. A substantial resource library is available through the commission, including resources on how to report legal violations and harassment.
