The Academic Success and Career Center has resources available to you during this shift in operations that might be useful for those concerned about the current job market.
- Attention students looking for internships or jobs in the current market! Find self reported updates from more than 800 companies who are hiring, laying off or have a current hiring freeze: https://candor.co/hiring-freezes/
- Students – you can access our ASCC website 24-7, with links to Handshake, our Job & Internship Search platform with hundreds of opportunities. When searching for jobs, select “remote” to pull up online opportunities.
- Students – you can apply for short term, paid, remote micro-internship projects through Parker Dewey. These experiences can help students leverage projects into possible full-time opportunities
- Students – You can make Career Coaching Appointments on Handshake and get some 1-1 assistance from our trained staff to help navigate through this unusual circumstance–refocusing toward a lens of resiliency.
- Linkedin has a very robust listing of remote internships here.. To help build up your LinkedIn profile to be noticed by employers, follow their guide here.
