Career Courses for Credit
The ASCC offers credit-bearing courses that are related to career exploration.
- UNIV 100 (College Majors and Career Choice) focuses on career development and the decision-making process, and exploration of academic majors and careers.
- UNIV 301 (College Major and Career Planning) assists in developing effective internship, career, and graduate school search approaches. Prerequisite: junior standing and certified in a major. 1 credit graded course
- UNIV 398 (Internship Synthesis) Course can only be taken while actively participating in an internship. Variable credit 2 – 15
- UNIV 497 (Peer Leadership) focuses on researching and reflecting on an internship experience. Course can only be taken while actively participating in an internship. Variable credit 1-4 (typically participating in an on-campus or ASCC internship experience)
