You’re invited to recruit at the WSU Internship Pop-Up Fair on September 9!

Washington State University’s Academic Success and Career Center invites employers to join us for the 2026 Internship Pop-Up Fair on Wednesday, September 9 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the WSU Compton Union Building (CUB), and connect with talented students seeking internship opportunities.

Imagine yourself here connecting with WSU talent

Our fall Internship Pop-Up Fair is a part of our WSU Career Expo lineup in the fall and complements our larger Career Expo and Technical Fair by creating a targeted recruiting event designed to help employers connect with students seeking internship opportunities.

WSU prepares talented students through 200+ undergraduate fields of study and nearly 150 graduate and professional programs from 11 academic colleges. With more than 25,000 students enrolled systemwide, employers can build connections with a broad pool of future professionals representing a wide range of interests, skills, and career goals.

Highlights from last year’s pop-up fair

500+ Washington State University students attended the inaugural Internship Pop-Up Fair, representing a wide variety of majors, industries of interest, and academic levels. As awareness of the event continues to grow, we anticipate even greater engagement in 2026 and look forward to helping employers connect with students seeking valuable internship experiences.

Here’s what students said about last year’s fair:

I discovered all the opportunities that [company] has to offer. It was super insightful and it made me excited.

I have discovered some new opportunities.

I got handouts from every company of internships to apply to, which is helpful to narrow down opportunities.

Here’s what employers said about last year’s fair:

This was a great event, and I appreciate the invite. We like to hire our interns early in the year and I think the timing of this was great and gives students a trial run before the big career fair in October.

Registration opens in July—space is limited!

To maintain the fair’s personalized atmosphere and create meaningful interactions between employers and students, registration capacity is intentionally limited. Registration fees remain competitively priced:

  • $125 for nonprofit organizations
  • $175 for government agencies and educational institutions
  • $225 for industry employers

Registration includes a recruiting table, recruiter hospitality, parking, and additional curated visibility through Handshake. Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your recruiting strategy and build connections with future talent at Washington State University.

For questions, please reach out to our team at employer@wsu.edu—we’d love to connect with you!
