Finding Jobs and Internships at WSU FUSE Career Fair

Are you still looking for a full-time opportunity or want to connect with a summer internship?  With the Career Expos and Networking events finishing up, the next big event will be the FUSE Career Fair on April 2. The FUSE Career Fair was first held in 1995 and is a collaboration between Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, Whitworth University, theUniversity of Idaho, and Washington State University. This event is hosted at the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane and will feature over 90 employers looking to hire Cougs from all industries. 

Ready for the next opportunity? Here are four steps to prepare for the FUSE Career Fair:

Step 1: Update your resume or get it reviewed at the Academic Success and Career Center.  You can either schedule an appointment with a Career Specialist on Handshake by clicking on this hyperlink or stop by their drop-in hours Monday through Friday, from 2-4 pm at Lighty Hall at the Pullman campus. More details on drop in hours are available via this hyperlink.

Step 2: Register for the FUSE Career Fair on Handshake by clicking on this hyperlink. With the event in a few weeks, make sure to register on Handshake to get the most updated information and event reminders.

Step 3: Check out the companies and opportunities on Handshake. The FUSE-featured employers are all available in the FUSE Career Fair Employer Collection, which is also featured on Handshake. Click on this hyperlink to view the complete list of employers attending FUSE.

Step 4: Make Sure to take the FUSE Career Fair Shuttle.  Don’t drive, no problem! WSU will offer a direct shuttle from WSU Pullman to the event and back for those needing transportation leaving from Lighty Hall on April 2 at 1:30 pm
