WSU On-Campus Opportunities: Step by Step Guide

Hey, Cougs, are you looking for on-campus work for this summer or looking for Fall?  Use Handshake!

What can a Handshake do for Cougs?

  1. Allows you to manage your profile (similar to LinkedIn), which you can use to apply for on-campus jobs.
  2. Attend career events and fairs or connect with our career center for help.
  3. Gain access to companies, their profiles, and the ability to network directly with recruiters in every industry.

Click this hyperlink to learn more about these and other Handshake features.

With your updated resume PDF on hand and your Handshake profile updated, here are three easy ways to start your on-campus job hunt:

  1. Log into Handshake using your WSU email and select jobs. Click here for that sign-in hyperlink.
  2. In the Job section, select “All filters,” followed by “On-campus,” and then press “Show Results.” Be careful not to select too many filters, as this will limit your options.
  3. Check out the options that come up. You can choose to “Save” opportunities to review later or “Apply” to sign up as a candidate right away and submit the required materials (resume… etc.)
