Thriving Authentically is a signature event hosted by the Academic Success and Career Center as part of their Career Expo readiness series. This season, we are excited to share that the event will be co-partnered by the Academic Success and Career Center and the LGBTQ+ Student Center at the WSU Pullman Campus. Among many goals, this event hopes to provide WSU Cougs with an authentic view into different industries, create a dialogue around the unique cultural and professional journeys faced by underrepresented groups, and the importance of advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the professional setting.
Thriving Authentically: Ascending Industry as LGBTQ+ will feature employer panelists that identify as Lesbian, Gay, Trans, Bi, Queer plus (LGBTQ+), offering students valuable industry insights regarding their chosen career paths and how they cultivated their professional and cultural identities on that journey. Join us virtually on Zoom Tuesday, February 13, 4:00–5:30 p.m. PST for a 90-minute vibrant conversation with several employers representing companies that hire WSU Cougs.
