LinkedIn offers tips to students studying Social Work

Students studying Human Development, Psychology, Social Sciences, Ethnic Studies, Humanities, and Philosophy all have foundational knowledge that is applicable to human services and can take your career in many directions.  These degrees lend themselves to many professions in social support services, such as community or youth development managers, and in social work and psychological services for those seeking an advanced degree.

But balancing a graduate degree and in-field experience work experience can be challenging for anyone hoping to make that next professional transition.
