Resume vs. CV (Curriculum Vitae)

If you have a resume, but you don’t have a Curriculum Vitae, you should think about creating one (better to be prepared, just in case). Some employers are expecting a CV while other employers are not. How do you know which one you need? If all else fails, ask. Call the employer and ask for the hiring manager. It’s better to know exactly what the employer wants. CV’s can be longer than a resume; however, don’t get carried away. A CV is a more detailed summary of the education, work experience, and skills. Both are targeted documents.
